Die Gemeinde suchte nach einem Weg, den in den Anlagen erzeugten Schlamm aufgrund der hohen Entsorgungskosten zu minimieren.<\/p>\n<p>Die Kl\u00e4ranlage produzierte vor der Umsetzung der Bio-Augmentation durchschnittlich 6350 Tonnen Schlamm pro Jahr. Heute werden nur noch 20 % der anf\u00e4nglichen Schlammmenge mit einem Dekanter entsorgt, um das System stabil zu halten, w\u00e4hrend der Rest des Schlamms intern verbraucht wird.
