Die Anlage produzierte \u00fcbersch\u00fcssigen Schlamm, der zwischen 135 und 266 Tonnen pro Monat lag und aufgrund der hohen Kosten f\u00fcr Dekanterbetrieb und Schlammentsorgung reduziert werden musste.<br \/>\nMit Hilfe der Bio-Augmentation wurde der produzierte Schlamm um 70% reduziert. Weitere Energie- und Finanzeinsparungen ergaben sich aus der minimierten Entw\u00e4sserungszeit, weniger Polyelektrolyten und Chemikalienverbrauch, aber auch aus der reduzierten Reinigung, die im Pumpwerk aufgrund der Fettbeseitigung erforderlich war.
