Dies entspricht 1\/3 der Anbaufl\u00e4che Griechenlands. In der Region Ormylia Chalkidiki (Sithonia) bewirtschaften etwa 1.000 Familien 32.000 Hektar. Die Produktion von Tafeloliven ist eine saisonale Aktivit\u00e4t sowie ein Verfahren mit hohem Wasserverbrauch, weshalb innerhalb einer wirklich kurzen Zeitspanne (Kampagnenzeitraum: September &#8211; November) eine betr\u00e4chtliche Menge an Abwasser anf\u00e4llt. Dar\u00fcber hinaus ist das Abwasser aus der Olivenverarbeitung durch einen sehr hohen organischen (5.000 &#8211; 15.000 mg CSB\/L) und Salzgehalt (4.000 &#8211; 12.000 \u03bcS\/cm) gekennzeichnet. In diesem Fall wird das gesamte Abwasservolumen in einer Lagune gesammelt und ein integriertes Bakteriendosier- und Pumpsystem wurde vor Ort in einem vorgefertigten Beh\u00e4lter installiert, der speziell f\u00fcr die Abwasserbehandlung durch Bioaugmentation ausgelegt ist. Analytische Ergebnisse haben die hohe Leistungsf\u00e4higkeit und Anwendbarkeit der Methode bewiesen, da in weniger als 7 Monaten nach Ende der Kampagne eine Reduzierung des CSB um > 90% erreicht wurde.
